The University History Office was established in 1979 and incorporated with the Chinese Catholic Museum in 1991.

The purpose of this office is to gather and preserve historical materials related to the university. It publishes historical research and helps design related courses and teaching materials. It promotes understanding of the university’s history, and draws on Catholic relics and works of art to help realize the university’s mission.

1. Classical-collection studies –
   The museum collection is available to university units for academic research.
2. Visitors guide –
   The Exhibition Hall of University History and the Chinese Catholic Museum, with their abundant collections, are open by appointment only.
